How did you learn to cut curly hair?

I feel that cutting curly hair is always a learning experience. I like to attend classes from various instructors as to keep an open mind for different techniques and styles. I personally have curly hair so I can relate to situations with personal experience as well.

What's your technique?

I like to address the clients needs first before I decide which technique to use. I will sometimes dry cut or wet cut. There are different techniques like slicing, point cut and carving that I like to use.

What products do you like best?

Our main line is Unite, but I also use Mixed Chicks and would like to work more with Quidad.

Any advice for other stylists?

Stay away from the thinning shears and if you razor cut always have a fresh razor, this will help keep the frizz down...

What's the hottest curly trend?

Keratin Complex Smoothing treatment
