How did you learn to cut curly hair?

I studied with Cal from DevaCurl. I am an accomplished curly hair stylist and own a very busy salon.

What's your technique?

Cutting curly hair dry and in it's natural curly state.

What products do you like best?

I love, love Deva Curl products. They are hands down the best!!!

Any advice for other stylists?

The use of a t-shirt rather that a towel does wonders for curly hair. It helps to eliminate frizz and helps to keep dry hair more hydrated because t-shirts are less absorbant than a typical towel.

What's the hottest curly trend?

The hottest curly trend is "Beachy Wave". I love curls to look tosseled and sexy.
