How did you learn to cut curly hair?
Through continued education both online offered through product lines catering to curly textures, and classes offered in the area
What's your technique?
I first ensure proper and even moisture throughout the strands by applying H2O and product prior to cutting. Then by taking small sections, I establish my guide, being mindful of my tension while cutting. I never forget that the way that hair behaves while wet will not be my finished result, so I always err on the side of not being overzealous when cutting the length.
What products do you like best?
Design Essentials Moisture Retention for curlier and coarser textures, Matrix curls line, Mizani and CURLS
