How did you learn to cut curly hair?

I learned how to cut curly hair through years of trials and tribulations and lots of education! Vidal Sassoon's, Ouidad, and many many books!

What's your technique?

Reducing weight and adding texture through twist cutting.

Any advice for other stylists?

Be gentle! It's not what you cut away, it's what you leave behind. Treat your clients with TLC, haircuts are very traumatizing for them, EVERY curly client has a horror story! Condition, condition, condition!

What's the hottest curly trend?

SHAPE!! Long waves, think 1940's waves, a la Veronica Lake.
