How did you learn to cut curly hair?

I've been doing hair since I was 12. My mom and grandmom were both hairdressers. It came pretty naturally to me. Curly hair is one of my favorite types of hair.

What's your technique?

I don't know if I have one. It's more freehand cutting than anything.

What products do you like best?

I am using a product line called David Babaii, that I really like. I also like Tigi Bedhead, Philip B. and KMS.

Any advice for other stylists?

Don't be afraid. So many people are afraid of it.

What's the hottest curly trend?

Not curly and not straight. The whole wavy thing. Every actress wants that same look.
