How did you learn to cut curly hair?

Years of experience. I've trained with all the major hairdressers in the world. It's basically trial and error.

What's your technique?

It's free form sculpting. You're creating a shape. It's totally different than traditional haircutting.

What products do you like best?

Right now, I'm liking Kevin Murphy and Morrocan Oil products.

Any advice for other stylists?

Take some specific curl cutting classes. If you can find a variety of classes, go to them.

What's the hottest curly trend?

With me, it's arranging the hair in different ways - unique ways of pinning and twisting the curls.
