How did you learn to cut curly hair?
I learned early on during my apprenticeship about working with curls. I would bring in challenging models to my classes and dive right in. I always enjoyed a challenge. I think this has made me a strong stylist.
What's your technique?
I cut in a combination of wet and dry. I mostly cut dry because I like to see the hair in it's natural state.
What products do you like best?
I dicovered a new curl cream called MOP Curl Defining cCeam. It works great giving the hair moisture and hold. I also hsve been using the Deva line for a few years now. I always get good results and feedback with it.
Any advice for other stylists?
Work with the natural texture of the hair. Create manageble and versitile cuts
What's the hottest curly trend?
Texture at any length creates a modern look. Also it provides longevity in the cut.
