How did you learn to cut curly hair?
I stumbled upon the Curly Girl Handbook about 8 years ago and started to embrace Lorraine Massey's techniques for caring and cutting curls. Now after twice being trained, I love showing clients how curls can be soft, natural, frizz-free defined curls. I am also a Deva Curl Advisor traveling all over the Northeast showing other salons how to help their curly clients embrace the curls.
What's your technique?
Deva Curl; I start out by cutting the hair dry each curl one by one, then I cleanse the hair and set the hair naturally and soft using One Conditon and Angel, or a myriad of combinations from the entire Deva line.
