How did you learn to cut curly hair?

Texture specialist at Paul Mitchell the School.

What's your technique?

Cut the hair while dry and give it long layers or layers that best suit the type of curl, hair structure, and face shape.

What products do you like best?

Aquage, Paul Mitchell Curls, Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Moisture.

Any advice for other stylists?

After you've applied product to your client's hair, proceed to create curl families and use your finger to twist the hair into those families then diffuse. Curl families, when dry, will create cleaner, more controlled and defined curls that will last until you wash your hair again.

What's the hottest curly trend?

Using Paul Mitchell Curl line to create defined, bouncy, free-flowing curls or beachy waves.
