How did you learn to cut curly hair?

I completed the Professional Curl Course at Devachan Salon in New York. I am now proud to be a Deva Inspired Advanced Stylist.

What's your technique?

I use all Deva Inspired techniques for cutting. All cuts are gentle on the hair, respectful of the curl, and tailored to each clients wants, needs, and facial shape.

What products do you like best?

I have decided to use only DevaCurl and DevaCare products on my curly clients. I think that using an all natural and botanically based product is the most important step in maintaining happy and healthy curls.

Any advice for other stylists?

Educate yourself and stay informed no matter your age or years in the business. Even though I am a Deva stylist, I do my best to keep up with the latest in curly hair as well as continuing education in any way I can.

What's the hottest curly trend?

In my area, we're seeing a lot of curly girls going shorter and really embracing more of the wild side of the curls.
