Green Tea Extract provides antioxidant and environmental protection to maintain luscious, healthy-looking, head-turning curls all day long. This dual-purpose formula is great for all curls, especially those experiencing dryness, frizz and breakage. Use as a daily conditioner to soften and restore curls. Can also be used as a hair primer after shampooing for a hydrating boost and all-day moisture protection. As a daily conditioner, apply to wet hair. Leave on for 3-5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. As a primer, apply to damp hair, comb through and style as usual.

If you have wavy, Type 2 hair like mine then I would recommend using a small amount because you don't want to weigh your hair down. I like to use this as both my leave-in and my styler on soaking wet hair, it may seem heavy at first but when my hair dries it always has great curl definition and feels soft.

I gave it 3 stars because of the price! But it is worth it. Really moisturized my hair and yes, my curls were popping! Used a leave in, a little oil and I was good to go, no need for additional gels. I will buy if again , IF I can find a good sale.

It took a few tries to get the hang of this product, but once I did, I realized how awesome it really is. I have not tried it as a conditioner, just as a styler. The first time I used it, I did not brush at all. My hair felt sticky and tangly and gross, and I could not wait to wash it out. The second time, I brushed before application. It was better, but still not great. I really wanted it to work, seeming as how I paid $26 for it, so I persevered. The 3rd try seemed to do the trick. I used the Ouidad double detangler straight out of the shower, followed by a coat of Whipped Curls, followed by brushing again, and then scrunching. This stuff does such a good job that I don't even have to use anything else on it. And to add to it, it sleeps so nicely…I'm on day 3 right now, and nobody could believe I hadn't washed my hair since Sunday - it's so pristine, and there's no frizz…and the few locks of hair that I have that don't like to curl are curling! Unless something changes when the weather gets more humid (it's been pretty humid already this week), I foresee myself using this product for a long time!

This product is amazing! It leaves my hair feeling sooo soft, and it comes out like thick frosting. If you have thick, wavy hair I recommend using it as a rinse out. So luxurious.

This product kept my hair moisturized and it seems to "play well" with stylers. I gave it four stars because as you get towards the end of the container, the product is difficult to get out. I'd prefer a jar or a pump versus a can.

I had the exact same experience as another user. I tried this as a rinse-out and ended up with rough feeling hair. Then I tried it as a leave-in and it's just terrible. My hair feels like straw. I wish I knew what ingredient(s) were the culprit so I could avoid them in other products.

I only gave the product 2 curls because it smells great!! I really wanted to "love" this product. Simply because it was $26.00 and it smells AMAZING!! but alas' I can not!...I initially tried this product as a leave-in and noticed it clumped up on my clean damp hair. I tried it twice on clean wet hair as a leave-in and it actually made my hair feel rough! It didn't work well with my styling products either. (Kinky Curly Custard and Kinky Curly Leave-in). The overall result was frizzy and non-defined curls. It didn't weigh my curls down it just was not a good primer for MY hair. I then decided to try it as a conditioner; I left it on my hair for about 15 mins and let the steam hit my head and detangled it and washed it off with warm-cold water and the results were pretty dry! My hair felt rough and dry. My curls then didn't have their usual bounce and vibrance! My hair feels soft with my other conditioners that I've been using so I know it's not my texture. Very upsetting, now I'll have to find a way to get rid of this product w/o feeling like I lost $30.00!!!

I expected this conditioner it to feel like a mousse because it is in a whipped cream type bottle, but it is actually a buttery, luxurious cream. It feels like a moisturizing body treatment. It seems to disappear and soak immediately into my hair. The slip is remarkable, and my hair feels instantly softened and tangle free. I am really surprised at how light this feels, and on my hair, it seems to feel even lighter than the Moisture Lock Leave-in. As a leave-in this makes my hair feel soft and bouncy. As a rinse-out it's impractical, simply because I need to use too much at a time, and 8 oz. lasts 2 weeks at best. After a rinse-out conditioner, this is a terrific leave-in.

This product is AMAZING!! It may be my new can't live without. I use this as a primer and it's wonderful, it adds so much moisture and creates great curl definition. It creates enough curl definition for me to have great 2nd and 3rd day hair, something that had not been achieved before this product! LOVE
