I've used this gel for years, its really great. For ponytails, only reason why im venturing away from it is because Im TRYING to make my hair healthier, because of the so called bad ingredients in it,it does flake occasionally, but you can probably cut down on that,if you moisturize 1st

I have used it twice on my 7 year old daughter's mixed race 3c hair and combined with a leave in it looks fab. The only reason I did not put 5 is that there are parabens. But other than that so far so good. I used it for wash and go to reduce frizz and let it air dry.

Great gel for twist outs and wash and go's! It is ok for slicking down edges but only temporarily.

I have been using this product for yrs and will for many more! Great to use when there is humidity it does not make my hair frizz or shrink up! Great for price and slicks my hair down well! Wouldn't recommend this if your hair is light because the color of the product does show up on your hair
