At 1st I wasn't sure if I liked it because it didn't go on as smooth and had that stinky Shea butter smell. But after letting it sit on my hair for about an hour, it left my hair feeling really soft and easy to detangle. You can find it cheapest on

I was searching for a good protein-free deep conditioner for these colder months and came across this product. I liked the ingredients I read so being the bonafide product junky I am, I rushed to my local whole foods to purchase it. Okay this bottle was like $16 for 8 oz. so I knew I was tripping already but I really liked the fact it had Shea butter in it. I washed using terresentials clay wash and then applied this mess. Hated it!!! As I applied it, it was watery and my hair squeaked as I tried to smooth it on. Sat under my steamer for two rounds, rinsed with cool water. My hair felt dull and not moisturizer. Will be returning to Whole foods in exchange for Aubrey Organics Honey Suckle Rose.

I loved this deep conditioner! I left it on for about 40 minutes and when I rinsed out, my hair was so soft and I could finger detangle with ease. The smell is a bit strange at first but I grew used to it and now I love it! There is a slight tingly sensation when first applied. It's priced reasonable compared to DT I was using before (SS deeply decadent) so this will be my go to from now on. Funny what you happen upon strolling thru whole foods!

I used this product in combination with the Beautiful Curls Leave-in conditioner. I was very pleased with the amount of moisture my hair retained with these products and my hairstyle (twistout) was much softer and richer in color than usual.

My hair story: 4months into transition I think I am one or multiple 4 types but unsure at this time...have been using this once weekly for a month as a deep conditioner. This product does nothing to my hair, it doesnt even make it easier to comb when l end up using the knottoday detangler afterwards to comb my hair has been very dry and brittle and the only thing that saves me is using a good leave in after. I also feel like it leaves a film or build up once rinsed hair just feels kinda waxy and not really moisturized. For the price not really worth it...I am just glad I bought it at whole foods because I can return it even though I used it and I don't like it.
