I don't know how much different the ingredients are from regular curly pudding and unscented curly pudding, but the results sure are different. Not only does this product smell like a sterile hospital room, it did not achieve the same results as regular curly pudding. It took much longer to dry, and left my scalp feeling really "uncomfortable" to the point where I had to was it out after every time I used it. I could not stand the almost burning feeling it left on my scalp! Endure the smell and stick to regular curly pudding!

I always heard everyone talking wonderfully about Miss Jessie's products, so when Target started carrying them, I immediately went and purchased them. One, they are extremely expensive, so I was put off by that, but I decided that if it made my hair look good, then price didn't matter. I have 3C hair in the front and 4a hair in the back, so my front always looks wonderful and the back can look really great or need extra help. This product made everything look horrendous. It left horribly noticeable white residue in my hair and I had to rewash my hair immediately. I promptly returned it all to Target (I also purchased the shampoo & conditioner & a buttercreme). I'd rather straighten my hair weekly then deal with this expensive product that did nothing but make things worst.

Mineral oil is the second ingredient, also contains dimethicone. Tried once and never again. Left my hair looking a hot mess.
