I bought these from the Devacurl website and was very disappointed. I am a big fan of most DevaCurl products, but these DevaClips were not worth the price. All but 3 of the plastic clips have broken and they don't work any better than duckbill clips and are 3x as expensive.

Like most products with the Deva name, these are overpriced. However -- I love them! My hair is on the fine side and metal clips always seem to snag my hair, but I don't have that problem hardly at all with these. If I could find similar clips for less money, though, I'd certainly buy them. Also, these clips have a tendency to break, so I have to buy a new package every year or so. Although I love using these, they are not without their drawbacks.

I'd say these are good only if you like to spend money and get brand name stuff. The plastic material is nice because it's super smooth and doesn't rust, and getting a color that matches your hair may be nice for some people (i.e. if you need to go outside and hope people won't notice them or something). Otherwise they work just like any other styling clip. I don't mind the fact that I purchased them, and I definitely use them all the time, but I was honestly on a wild CurlMart spending spree and looking back I probably wouldn't buy them again as they are 4x the price of generic clips. They are also quite slippery so I wouldn't recommend sleeping in them, they always end up in a different place the next morning.
