I used this for the first time today and I love this product. It leaves my hair feeling clean and it removes the product buildup. The smell is not bad.

If I followed the CG method this would be a serious contender. I have had huge issues with finding something to remove product build-up in my hair (my hair is veeeeery porous and I am heavy handed especially with oils). This cleanser was amazing. I have only found one shampoo that removes products as well as this and later found out it has sulfates (gasp!). Even KCCC doesn't do as good a job. It removed everything and didn't leave my hair AT ALL stripped AND it had very good slip to boot! Curls were clumped and defined after use. Really in love. Going to try it a few more times to see if maybe I can follow the CG method..and this is a huge step cause I'm an avid shampoo-er.

This is a wonderful conditioning cleanser, especially great for those following a CG routine. A few reviews have criticized the witch hazel, but witch hazel is just a plant. The commercial astringent called "Witch Hazel" has alcohol added to it. The label of this product does not list alcohol.

This product did exactly what I hoped it would. It cleansed my combo 3c/4a curls without stripping. The ingredients are very natural. I don't like products with silicones or sulfates, so it was perfect. The scent was OK, a little bit menthol-y, but not too distracting. I use Aveda Brillant gloss as a finisher anyway, which smells very good. I've already re-ordered this twice and will continue to purchase it.

I LOVE this cleansing conditioner. It felt really good on my scalp and i could tell it was working. Its also very moisturizing, i didnt need to use conditioner afterward (its a cleanser and conditioner in one). Also, when i read reviews that said shipping was fast, they were not kidding, shipping was FAST.

Wow! I really want to give this 4 curls but I can't because of the witch hazel. This is the best moisturing condish. I've tried so far. I would not rec. for daily use and I'm not really sure of it's cleansing properties but as a deep condish. periodically it would be great.

Update: I found I have to follow with a rinse-out moisturizing conditioner otherwise the witch hazel will tend to dry out my hair even as the other ingredients in the CCC moisturize. It's still a nice cleanser, though. But I can use WEN in one cycle with no follow-up conditoner.

What a great cleanser/detangler! I leave it on my hair for the length of time I'm in the shower, comb through and rinse. my hair always feels very moisturized and healthy afterwards. The smell is a strong cherry almond scent, but I like it. I use this everyday instead of shampoo.

After one use -- Wow! great product. I had been leery of the witch hazel, bu this is very moisturizing and cleansing. I even added a little lemon juice and hair felt wonderfully clean and hydrated with the cream during and after cleansing. I am a little tired of the almond fragrance though, even though it is mild.

Very good performance, but the smell is a real liability. Way too cloyingly sweet fake banana smell. I'll use up the jar, but only when I won't be in an enclosed area or around people I like.

Great moisturizing product. I like to use it to massage my scalp. I find it really helps to detangle. I am not too sure about how cleansing it is but it makes a great conditioner wash.
