Default Can a diabetic patient undergo rhinoplasty surgery?

My mom is considering rhinoplasty surgery from a clinic in Toronto. She has been waiting for years to get it done. I was shocked when she told me about this. She has already booked an appointment with Dr. Philip Solomon in our locality. But I'm worried about her health as she is a diabetic patient. She has type 2 diabetes and is taking insulin. Can a type 2 diabetic patient be a candidate for rhinoplasty surgery? She is in her 50's. I'm really worried as she is not listening to me. I think I should go along with her on the date of her initial appointment and talk with her surgeon.
