Default hair foiling

I need some input! I have semi-color on my hair, which is golden brown, as my hair started having some grey in it. My stylist foiled with lighter color to give a streaked effect but no large "chunks". Problem is: The blended hair looks fine right after it's done, but the next day and beyond, it has this "frosted" look and blends together. What is my stylist doing wrong. She is very good but I think she is frustrated with it. Plus it seems to get blonder and blonder as the weeks go by and loses the darker golden color.

Any help would be appreciated.

Depending on the size and curl formation you have she may be weaving too thinly which will blend the color. Another possibility is the color she uses may not be on long enough. Is she doing a 2 step process, both services at the same time or highlighting then refreshing the ends last? Timing is key with curly hair. and keeping the hair moisturized so it absorbs the color sufficiently.
