Ok, if coarse curly hair has an abundance of protein, then how is it that keratin treatments can straighten hair? How does keratin "naturally straighten " hair that already has too much??

Thanks for the suggestions. The peg dimethicone isn't bad in the first but the petrolatum and mineral oil in the second are not so great. I still wonder about the the presence of the flammable...

Wow, thanks so much. Follow up, I shouldn't be nervous about isobutane and propane being in some of them? I'm sure that's how the mousse is propelled out of the container but....no negative effects...
