Wow, thanks so much. Follow up, I shouldn't be nervous about isobutane and propane being in some of them? I'm sure that's how the mousse is propelled out of the container but....no negative effects on the hair? (Never mind that it's flammable.)

Nioxin is a great brand, their bodifying foam is great, here are the ingredients:

Water (Aqua), Polyquaternium 11, Isobutane, Polyimide 1, Hydrofluorocarbon 152A, Glycoproteins, Cystine BG-PG-Propyl Slanetriol, PEG PPG 25 25, Dimethicone, Stearalkonium Chloride, Amodimethicone, Polysorbate 20, Cetrimonium Chloride, Trideceth 10, Caprylyl Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Perfume (Fragrance).

Sebastian whipped cream is also very good.

Water, Carbon Dioxide, Cetearyl Alcohol, Panthenol, Petrolatum, Mineral Oil, Cetrimonium
Chloride, Methylparaben, Fragrance, Sea Salt, Hydrolyzed Keratin

Thanks for the suggestions. The peg dimethicone isn't bad in the first but the petrolatum and mineral oil in the second are not so great. I still wonder about the the presence of the flammable ingredients--how bad are they for hair? if at all.

I use the AG mousse gel. It is great. Not drying at all. I use it on my thick heavy hair and on fine haired clients. Good for both.
